Avelo Restaurant is located in a heritage townhouse on a quiet street in Yorkville and serves some of the city's finest plant-based cuisine. Our aim is to deliver an extraordinary and immersive dining experience where the servers guide guests through an exploration of many small plates highlighting seasonal ingredients while offering insight into each dish. We also offer an optional wine pairing and are able to accommodate many dietary restrictions with advance notice.Avelo hosts two dinner seatings per evening where guests choose between the 5-course or the 8-course* tasting menu. The seating times are 5-6:15pm and 7:45-8:30pm.     The food is to die for! The entire experience was thoroughly satisfying except for 1 little irritant - I dont mean to be petty but we ordered a side of aspargus and then when we got the main we realized that the lobster came with asparagus. Perhaps I missed it in the menu but my wife and I thought it would have been nice for the waitress to point that out as we really didnt need the side of asparagus. Other than that they took amazing care of us and gave us a special anniversary desert which was a very nice touch. I would highly recommend for a special night out or anyone who enjoys amazing food in a comfortable but elegant atmosphere

    Disappointing. Orders were not plated as requested, my eggs ok but my peameal was on another’s plate for which I was charged $5 more. My other friend’s hollandaise sauce was poured still cold over her eggs. Very expensive breakfast too! Expected better bacon- overdone and dry. Waiter was sweet but not swift. But both friends loved the setting and ambiance and we made plans to come back for dinner one evening.
