Chat Thai became an instant smash hit in 1989 when it opened its first restaurant with plenty of heat and authentic Thai dishes. We've since added restaurants in Circular Quay, Westfield Sydney, Neutral Bay, Chatswood and Galeries Victoria, and in 2015 we added organic, fresh produce from our farm in Byron Bay. As soon as Amy Chanta flung open the doors in 1989 Chat Thai became an instant smash hit with Sydney diners already familiar with Thailand and no appetite for compromising on ingredients, flavours, textures and aromas. Searching all across Sydney for the correct vegetables, herbs and sauces Amy was able to set herself apart through a stubborn dedication to reminding diners of their unforgettable food experiences on the streets of Bangkok.Three decades later we are proud to continue Amy’s vision by adding organic vegetables from Boon Luck Farm to serve up authentic Thai dishes we ourselves want to eat.     We have been to Chez Crix about 5 or 6 times over the past year. Every time it keeps getting better and better. The food is phenomenal and the laid back rustic chilled vibe of the place is so fun and real change from what yiou get at most restaurants. The wine list is exceptional and have never had a bad wine yet. Plus they know their drinks so you can ask the staff to make you pretty much anything and they will know. I highly recommend this place. Defintely one of my top 5 restaurants in sydney.

    Delicious! One plate Wonders are excellent value for money; came out quick and hot but still tasting of wonderful restaurant quality. Crispy pork stayed crispy, jasmine rice fluffy and generous, perfect for sauce. Fun selection of drinks too, we hope to come back soon and work our way through the options
