This is by far the best artisan pizzeria in Halifax. The food is amazing and their innovation in offerings is outstanding. We have been going there for a long time and each time has never disappointed. It feels like coming into a family friends house for supper. The staff are amazing and always have time to chat. You never feel rushed at Lou Pécou. Their use of local top quality ingredients makes their food always fresh. It never feels like they have gone to the wholesaler for ingredients, but rather they buy locally or make their own. They are now using their own sourdough pizza dough with unique ancient grains flour. Last nights meal was incredible. Just when you think they have done everything to achieve the best results, they go one better with innovative methods and creative inspiring food. They never stop improving or trying to better themselves. Whenever we have friends come in from out of town, we either recommend or take them to Lou Pécou. They deserve every success they have worked so hard for.

It was really good. You know what you are getting yourself into when dining at Jack Astors. We had, the blue buffalo sandwhich, the crispy chicken sandwhich, Asiago chicken bow ties, and chicken strips. Al the food was fresh, hot and really flavourful. 4 birthdays while we were there so of course really loud and busy but that’s what you get with JA’s
