Vatutto is a family run restaurant, Owners Paul and Myrto Recinella moved from their 16 year Institution at Zios East Melbourne to the Ivanhoe location in 2015. A full renovation was completed recently creating a modern yetelegant atmosphere. Vatutto translates from Italian to ‘Everything goes’ the menu here has a diverse flavour selection from all corners of the earth. Produce here is sourced from premium suppliers, and we use sustainable seafood from Australian or New Zealand waters, Wagyu beef from Gippsland, organic eggs, fruit and vegetables, and quality imported cheese, dairy products and flour. Bread is baked daily and all desserts, pastries and ice cream are all made on the premises using quality ingredients.

    The restaurant is warm, rustic, and full of character—authentic down to the last detail. It felt like stepping into a true Southern smokehouse. Every staff member we interacted with was friendly and attentive. The food was incredible, every mouthful was a like a flavour bomb going off in your mouth! The pork ribs were especially to die for! Highly recommend this place!

    Great restaurant for medium-large group of 15 for Sunday lunch. We always choose Va Tutto for larger groups as they allowed us to order A La Carte & are always welcoming and the menu offers great variety and is a great standard. Thanks to the team at Va Tutto. We enjoyed this week’s family lunch.

    Fun place to enjoy happy hour before the theatre. Simple menu with plenty of snacky foods. Delicious cocktails. We even enjoyed a few games of darts while drinking cocktails.

    I loved the lamb salad and the salmon was exquisite! The elderflower mocktail was perfect for a hot day. Thank you to the team for great food and excellent service. I will be back.
