Unhurried lunch of drinks, mains and dessert. Everyone enjoyed their choices. Very polite service, and helpful advice with regard to allergies. Local produce including a good gin for everyday g&ts. The garden looked lovely but too hot for us the day we visited. Would definitely recommend for informal dining or a special occasion.

The Red Lion offers an extensive and interesting drinks menu and the food is always delicious with a varied menu to suit all tastes. The staff are professional and knowledgable, as well as, welcoming and friendly. There is also a choice of places to sit ,both inside and outside in the garden. I highly recommend a visit!

We had the Prime Cut Argentine Rib Eye and the Argentine Fillet Steak (Tenderloin), with fries to share, peppercorn and chimichurri sauces, along with a refreshing Strawberry Mojito and a Jarritos Coke. Everything was absolutely delicious. The standout for me was the tender, buttery Argentine Fillet Steak—an instant favourite! I usually go for medium-well, but on the recommendation of our server, we opted for medium on both steaks, and it was spot on—perfectly cooked and full of flavour. The food and service were excellent, with no added service charge and no awkward tip request—just genuinely friendly staff who clearly enjoy what they do. Everyone was welcoming and smiling, which made the experience even better. I’ll definitely be back soon!
