Best Lunch Restaurants in Huddersfield

We have been a few times, we usually have the £12 lunch menu (meal and a drink) followed by the £4.95 (small dessert and a coffee)...The food is good and excellent value for money. On this occasion we have to say the service was quite poor, a long waiting time to get our main course, and even longer for dessert. the waiter did eventually come to say our crumble was in the oven, we said thought we'd been forgotten. he did say there was a party of 9 in, and only one chef. We will probably go back again, but had this been our first visit, maybe wouldn't have.

Absolutely fabulous visit to Norman’s yesterday to celebrate my mums 85th birthday along with my sister. A very warm welcome was given by the lovely 2 waitresses. When we got to our delightful table they had placed a birthday card followed by a glass of fizz! The menu is totally unique and so special! Our lovely waitresses were more than happy to explain the dishes that come as ‘small plates’ tapas style. Every choice we made was incredible and the whole experience left us astounded at the superb creations made by the extremely talented chefs! We were still talking about the food hours after we left. Luckily it’s our wedding anniversary very soon so that was my excuse to immediately boom to return to get another ‘fix’ of this wonderful restaurant

Top class birthday lunch….outstanding quality matched by personable team

A great evening at Devour and how nice to see everyone dressed up too! The atmosphere was lovely, nice and busily noisy and still going strong at 10pm which seems rare these days. Food excellent.
