Always serves up great food with prompt and polite service. However it is disappointing that a cafe of this calibre neglects tea drinkers. An order of tea arrives as a pot with a tea bag inserted. So the customer is paying for a pot meant to provide two cups worth, instead of a cup resulting with the tea at half strength. What's wrong with using tea leaves? On my next visit i ordered a soy chai instead. This was also undrinkable .

Our Daughter and son in law bought us a voucher for TREAND as they went to a wine tasting there and also bought us some wine. The wine was really good. We booked a table on a Thursday lunch time. We were welcomed into a lovely room with views of the gardens. The choice on the menu was exactly to our liking and we started with the venison and duck terrine with pickles from the garden. It was delicious. We ordered bread with olives too. The sour dough bread was freshly made and the olives were prepared by the Mother of the three generation ownership of TREAND and were also delicious. Our main was the best beef steak we've ever had, with mash potato and salad also from the garden. To go with our meal we had a Pinot Gris made on the TREAND estate. It was very complementary to the meal. After such a grand experience we took away two TREAND Pinot Noir and two TREAND Pinot Gris. 10 out of 10. Well worth a visit. We will definitely return soon.

The staff were great, so friendly and helpful. The food was outstanding, so fresh and delicious. We will definitely be going back!
