Next Door is the sister restaurant of Margaret, which, quite literally, sits next door to it at the corner of Bay St and Guilfoyle Avenue. Featuring a rolling 12-hour lunch-to-dinner menu, the bar brings you a selection of specially curated small plates such as Woodfire Grilled Peppers, Cherry Tomatoes with Oregano, Braised Zucchini with Mint, Chilli and Pecorino, as well as an amazing selection of Consorcio, Cuca, Pollastrini, Ortiz and Real Conversas tins with some freshly baked sourdough from Baker Bleu. It’s our first time to try the mud crab in Song Bird and OMG the crab fat is so rich in flavour and the mouthful of crabmeat is so delicious. This is definitely the best mud crab we’ve tried for a long time. The other dishes like the Peking duck and banana pudding are good as usual. Very attentive and approachable service. Song Bird is now my partner’s most favorite Chinese restaurant in Sydney. And for sure we will return.

Traditional home cooking which was delicious. Seafood was superb and so fresh. Good menu variety of dishes available. Recommend getting a variety of pastas to share and don’t leave without trying the arancini. We Will definitely be back .
