One of our favorites. We have dined there numerous times and always enjoy the food and excellent service. Highly recommend Sassafras Southern Bistro

We came here to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Our Waitress Jamie M was wonderful. The food was delicious. We came here especially for the Gluten Free entrees. They had so much more than we thought. We cannot wait to go back. We had the Filet Mignon and Chilian seabass. They are expensive but worth it! For our anniversary they gave us a champagne and dessert. You need to try once. Ask Jamie M!

First time we went, the moment you walk in the door you are given great attention by staff! We didn’t know what to order and the waiter reminded us the menu changes twice daily, while that happens, he had great notes and recommendations to lead for a great meal choice. Our waiter - forgot his name- did an amazing job of taking care of us (he had yellow glasses, bald headed, and a mustache). I had the soft shell crab dish - never had soft shell crab; YUM! The Brussel sprouts were served with an amazing paprika aioli, and the steak my wife had was huge and cooked to perfection. The food was so fresh and the menu selections were amazing. We loved the vibe in the restaurant and it was comfortable for a family, a couple, shorts/blue jeans, or PROM ATTIRE (a few prom dates were there)…

Great experience as always. Food is excellent and prepared in a timely matter.
