Best Lunch Restaurants in Stapelfeld

We have been dining here several times over the years. The authentical Austrian dishes and other options are outstanding. We - a party of three - enjoyed the starters „Rare Yellow Fin Tuna“ and „Veal Tartar“. Main courses were „Veal Schnitzel“ (huge portion), veal „Tafelspitz“ (not too much meat but filling sides), and the vegan option with green Asparagus, Tomatoes and Parmesan Espuma. We finished with an „Kaiserschmarn with Zwetschengeröster and Vanilla Ice“ to share, which was the finishing highlight of this dinner. The service was very attentive but due to high guest numbers they served one wrong starter and the right replacement took some time to be served…../ The other problem was a - and I have to admit my fault of not checking carefully the check - wrongfully charged glass of Rose Wine (valued 10,20 Euro) to our desk. I should have been alerted after the waitress tried to serve this „non-order“ to our our table before. We highly recommend this location to enjoy typical Austrian Food in Hamburg but also recommend to have a reservation as it may be crowded. Food is awesome and service is great. Pricewise it’s on the higher side but it’s worth it.

Highest quality food with beautiful presentation and excellent service. View of lake Alster is an added bonus. Highly recommend.
