Best Lunch Restaurants in Rancho Palos Verdes / Rolling Hills Estates

It was okay for a Monday not too busy. It’s a good spot for a causal date night.

Beautiful venue. We sat outside at one of the picnic tables right next to the dramatic cliff with gorgeous ocean views. Nelson’s is named in honor of the fictional Mike Nelson character in the Sea Hunt TV series which was filmed here before the resort was built. Mike Nelson was a SCUBA diver, former Navy frogman, played by Lloyd Bridges, father of Jeff Bridges.

Not my first time here. As always, a really great experience, I would like to recognize the hostess Taya and our server Mota for excellent service and attention to detail. They made my mom's visit very special.

We had a great experience at Bashi. The garlic noodles were fantastic (as we read on many glowing reviews prior to going). Views are phenomenal.

We started out with the calamari which was cooked and seasoned perfectly. I had the filet mignon, which I have to say, was the most tender fillet I have ever had in my entire life. My wife had the ribeye and she loved it. Beautiful restaurant and great food.
