Best Lunch Restaurants in Portland

I booked the Tea Party at the Regency with Stephan. I was given a coloring menu earlier in the month while visiting a friend, her daughter and baby at the outdoor cafe. I asked the bartender about the Tea Party and then she had Stephan explain it to me. I We arrived 7/26/25 at 2:00. Our party consisted of 4 adults, 4 children and a baby. I was greeted by Stephan and the server. They had our table ready with pretty tea cups and napkins. The families arrived dressed all pretty for a tea party. We ordered tea, champagne and lady bug coffee for children. We ordered the tiers of food and the adults and children had a fine time drinking tea and tasting tea sandwiches. The food was great. The children were served lobster shaped watermelon. The best ! The whole experience was spectacular Thank you to all We learned about manners, etiquette and drinking and eating like a young lady. One little thing you might change on the menu When looking at the Champagne bottles pricing It was a bit confusing on the amount and the pricing. Food was fantastic service was impeccable we just loved the place. Clam Chowder was so good and I highly recommend the Lobster Ravioli.

The food was good, they implemented a new menu just a week ago. As a party of 2 the value/$ left a bit to be desired, it fell short on a few of the “luxuries” of eating at an expensive restaurant (forced still or sparkling, expensive white wine, but not chilled.) Definitely more of a tasting menu than an eating menu. Highly recommend the dip, tuna, and shrimp. Steak and Salmon are average with both lacking in their accompaniments. Drinks were good. Ambiance was good, the music and wait staff were both great, the building could use a good cleaning nothing to do with the quality. Overall would give it a 3.8/5.

Our favorites on the Restaurant Week menu were the arancini and blood orange sorbet. We’d been to the Armory Lounge several times but only for drinks. Now that we’ve sampled the food, we’ll return for drinks and food! Very good service.
