The recent visit was to celebrate my friend's birthday. The staff were friendly and helpful when we arrived, and during the whole time the staff were available and on hand with our orders. The food was absolutely wonderful. Would definitely go back again.

The food was absolutely amazing, could never fault it. Well seasoned, cooked to perfection and served hot. Our waitress was absolutely amazing. She was very attentive to our needs. She was very kind and very understanding. Kudos to the chef. Will definitely be visiting again. Might be worth mentioning that we all had fish dishes.

The food and service was all wonderful. Great quality food with great flavours and the service was really good. Friendly staff and the choice of food on menu was good and varied. Something for everyone

The food on the Carvery was outstanding. Complements to the Chef and his team. All the front of house staff were also very helpful. This is good value for money.

Enjoyed a very pleasant afternoon at The Holt, afternoon tea was lovely, nice atmosphere and decorated with Christmas tress and a lovely fire. Nice to have warm scones as some places do not do this, and nice sandwiches and cakes. We needed to do a last minute change with the sandwich's from their menu, and the were very obliging to do so.
