The design of the restaurant is a modern interpretation of the old Chinese teahouse. Blacklock is a modern version of the Great British chophouse. Set in an old brothel, we take the best meat in the country from the award winning farmer and butcher Philip Warren in Cornwall. We cook chops simply over our real charcoal grill with a little help from vintage Blacklock irons and serve it all up alongside cocktails that give back and wine on tap in our atmospheric subterranean chop mecca.     Yauatcha Soho was an great dining experience. Visiting London for several days and searched for a restaurant near our Hotel in Leicester Square and we were very glad we found Yauatcha Soho. It was perfect. The food is outstanding, exceeding our expectations which were high to begin with the reviews we had read. The service was impeccable. We asked and received a quieter spot in the restaurant. We will return at every opportunity and will share our recommendation with friends. It is definitely a not to be missed dining experience.

    I’m lucky to experience some great restaurants in my time and this one is right up there. Nibbles, starters and mains cannot be faulted and the famous Leek dish which I was told about was amazing. In particular the service was one of the best I’ve experienced. We had a waitress called Shelia and she was a great help in us deciding what best to eat and having knowledge on all the dishes. Great charm across all the staff and amazing personality throughout the evening Will be definitely coming back with friends and family!
