Theo & Sebastian who are brothers, started Smiths in the middle of a pandemic! We are seriously passionate about patties and are based in Bourton-On-The-water, also known as ‘Venice of the Cotswolds’. Our restaurant sits circa 30 guests making it a small, exclusive place to come and eat. Since opening, we have made it our mission to get our hands on the best possible ingredients. We also use dry aged beef with a great fat content supplied by Aubrey Allen, which marries up with our strong, unique flavour combinations giving you the ultimate bite! We cant forget about or delightful buns, which are handmade daily by a wonderful local baker. All the flour used for our buns is made up of Cotswold flour sourced from local farmers. We also pride ourselves on having a vibrant cocktail scene. All of our cocktails are bespoke to us and our syrups and flavourings are made in house!

The Ox Barn is a 56-seater destination restaurant under the direction of Head Chef, Charlie Hibbert. The nineteenth century former oxen house is the newest addition to the family of meticulously restored farm buildings. A state-of-the-art piece of agricultural architecture at its conception, Caryn Hibbert worked meticulously to preserve the soaring archways and original Cotswold stone rubble walls, to now house a modern, dining destination - including a contemporary bar and seven and a half metre Charvet open kitchen - to allow for an authentic, heritage-rich dining experience, enabled by today’s best culinary technologies.

Great pub in a beautiful setting. Staff were all great, so friendly, attentive and kind. The food was superb. Highlights were the scallops and the best cheese pull on the kids mac & cheese. Really enjoyed our visit. Thank you.

The food on the Carvery was outstanding. Complements to the Chef and his team. All the front of house staff were also very helpful. This is good value for money.

Enjoyed a very pleasant afternoon at The Holt, afternoon tea was lovely, nice atmosphere and decorated with Christmas tress and a lovely fire. Nice to have warm scones as some places do not do this, and nice sandwiches and cakes. We needed to do a last minute change with the sandwich's from their menu, and the were very obliging to do so.
