Both the historic towns of Tetbury and Malmesbury are within a stone’s throw of us.A three-mile radius encompasses Westonbirt Arboretum and Westonbirt school, Highgrove gardens, and the Beaufort polo club. Badminton and Gatcombe horse trials are both within easy reach. We are 24 miles from the Roman spa town of Bath and from the city of Bristol, both with their many attractions. Cheltenham races are 34 miles from the Cat.Apart from these attractions, we are in the heart of an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) with many wonderful walks direct from our front door. We welcome well-behaved dogs.Our chef’s mission is to serve delicious pub food at reasonable prices. Our ingredients are fresh and largely sourced from local suppliers. Lovely new venue , welcoming and stylish interior . Service was quick and delivered with cheerful friendliness . Good menu with variety - had a watermelon and heritage tomato salad with feta as a main ( from starter menu) , which was perfect on a roastingly hot day .

Lovely village pub with good decor and a pretty garden. We sat outside on an perfect summer evening. Only had tine for a quick meal, but the service was excellent and the food well cooked, well presented and at a reasonable price. Can definitely recommend.

Lovely pizzas with unusual toppings. Great looking restaurant. Posh menu though with names that didn’t really tell you what the toppings were. 12.5 % service charge is a bit steep
