Brilliant, friendly service, excellent food. The risotto was the best I've had, my husband's steak was superb. Plum crumble delicious. Would recommend The Duke as a really good place to eat. It isn't cheap but worth every penny.

Been a long time since going to Dumb Post Inn but the food was even better than previously and it was amazing back then. The flavours on the Sunday roast were so mouth watering and the plates were pretty much clean. Absolutely loved the red cabbage as well so many restaurants don't manage to make it that tasty

We were travelling from the South West to London and just fancied a Sunday Lunch. So it was a random and unplanned visit. An online search revealed good reviews. Car park full on arrival which we took as a good sign. We were early for an OpenTable slot but were welcomed. We sat outside and one of the team came to tell us our table was ready. We had one Sunday roast and one set of tapas dishes. The pork crackling was the star of the show of the Sunday roast. The Moroccan Lamb and the pheasant stroganoff were outstanding. Service was brisk, authentic and the right side of attentive. All in all a fabulous dinner and would highly recommend.

Lovely Sunday lunch again. Beautifully cooked roast beef lunch and my daughter had the Gluten Free burger meal. They are so friendly and the food is such good value for money. It was also air conditioned, which was wonderful.

The fish of the day, cod with leeks in lemon butter, was delicious, cooked absolutely perfectly. The reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that the dish did not come with potatoes, so we had to add them as an extra. £5 each for 4 small herbed new potatoes, however nice, was not good value, and was annoying. All the other menu choices appeared to be complete dishes, so why not this one?
