Best Lunch Restaurants in Gainesville

Mildred’s is the best restaurant in Gainesville. Chef Cameron is always looking for creative ways to use local and fresh ingredients to put together excellent dishes. Last night we enjoyed octopus carpaccio which is new to the menu and the always amazing scallops with a fresh new set up. Service is always on point and they make you feel special even on a random Friday evening. Bert Gill continues to exceed expectations both here and at Blue Gill!

Very good choices and delicious BBQ -- especially the ribs! Sides were good as well.

Great atmosphere - floor to ceiling windows for 1/2 the room!, spacious between tables, outdoor patio facing fountains, great service, very good food and decent menue choices. We will be back!

We needed a lunch reservation during graduation weekend and P.F. Chang’s delivered. It was super easy getting in, the lunch specials were broad and the service was quick. We were certainly in and out in 30 to 45 minutes. The food and the service was as expected, quick and pleasant.

We had a fantastic experience at BJ’s Brewhouse in Gainesville! They graciously accommodated our large party during a very busy graduation weekend, and everything went smoothly. All of our orders were correct, and the service was exceptional. Our waitress was attentive, kind, and incredibly accommodating—especially helpful with dietary needs, including gluten-free options. The food was great, and the atmosphere was lively and fun. Highly recommend for both small gatherings and large celebrations!
