Menu is perfect, small but full of interesting things and our choices where superb. The food was delicious and perfectly cooked. The service was very good and there was a nice atmosphere in the room. I can heartily recommend it and hope to return when next in the area.

Arrived on time with lovely greeting fm member of staff :-) Food was lovely and came swiftly after ordering …. what can I say …. perfect!! 👍

Food was good, but standard seems to have dropped a little, since we were here last year. The upstairs was also being used unlike previous visits, increasing capacity, but this has increased waiting times significantly and leaving staff struggling to cope. Several customers were having to ask when their orders were. The staff were very friendly and it’s not their fault they were stretched to the limit.

We ate at lunch time on a Sunday. Wow what a roast! I had pork and husband had beef. Great big yorkypuds too. Staff lovely, a couple of puds not available but still several choices. Can't speak highly enough of the friendly staff. Going back soon.

The food and service was fantastic as usual. The staff could not be more helpful and the menu had lots of appealing choices for all tastes. We had a lovely evening in beautiful surroundings
