Situated in the lovely village of Landscove, between Ashburton and Totnes. We believe passionately in provenance, sustainability and seasonality, with an emphasis on what is good and local, in both our kitchen and bar. Food mileage really is of paramount importance to us, that's why we partner with local suppliers. Our partners, Anran less than a mile away supply us with lots of our seasonal veg and produce, with all of their proceeds from the food going to cancer research. We also supply local and delicious ales and cider. Some of these include New Lion brewery in Dartington, Barnabys in Holne and Bulkamore Orchards in Rattery.

Fabulous meal couldn't fault. Service was poor. Waited in the lounge area for nearly 10 mins at the bar then went in to bar area to look for someone to serve us. Unsure if it was because they were busy in bar or not enough staff serving. We had booked a table prior to arrival. When main course was finished waitress informed us that a big group of people would be arriving and we were sat on one of their tables so did we want anything else. With that, we decided to abandon coffee and left.

The staff were all very friendly and welcoming on our arrival, we were a little early but they were already set up and ready for us. We had a choice of different Tea’s and also coffee with the Afternoon Tea we had booked. The afternoon tea food was excellent and delicious. We had a relaxing afternoon with excellent service from all the staff who we met. A big thank you to all of them. It was wet on our visit so we weren’t able to have our afternoon tea on the terrace, so that means we will have to come back on another visit.
