Afternoon tea at the Dormouse Haven was absolutely lovely x The food was amazing, tasted delicious & plenty in amounts Other diners had lovely looking dishes as well so will have to revisit to sample them The hostess is such a welcoming lady thank you for a lovely afternoon x

Having not been to the Pick for a while we tried the Pick for Sunday Lunch on the 4th May. We were booked in for 1/5:00hrs and arrived a little early . We were shown to our table almost immediately and given the menu and asked for our drink order. There was no draft beer which was a little disappointing, but settled for a bottle of wine. The wine came in good time and our food order was taken. The food ,one chicken and one roast beef, Sunday lunch arrived within 30 minutes of sitting down. The food was very good and the portions ok. The service from both the staff who appeared to be covering both the bar and restaurant was excellent. Overall a decent Sunday lunch in the pleasant surroundings of the Pickering Arms in Thelwall Village.

We visited on Saturday evening. A family meal and they had A live singer on. He was brilliant. We love Bear. We will definitely be back

Friendly & attentive staff, amazing food (great choice on the menu), and not overpriced. Will definitely be returning.

Ordered 4 dishes off the small plates. Did not like the batter like coating on the meat dishes we ordered and found the bread hard, not soft that came with the houmus and the artisan oil. We went on a lovely sunny day but chose to eat inside which was quite cold as no heating was on.
