Cooking over a central grill makes for great theatrical cooking from our open-plan kitchen, overseen by Head Chef Nick Galer. Whilst a subtle Basque feel will permeate throughout, its roots are firmly founded on those of a classic English pub – so while featuring top end Basque dishes fit for a destination dinner, it also offers simple pub snacks for a light lunch… while the food may be inspired by the Basque country, the ingredients are local… and while the wines may be sourced from Iberia, the beer is very much English.The crowning glory is the sensational open kitchen, with a huge, CHARCOAL FIRED parilla grill and a BRICK OVEN as its centrepiece and all in front of the guests – very visual and very theatrical. The food was fantastic and the service was superb so very happy. The only thing we were sat right under the open kitchen which did make it slightly noisy but a nice afternoon Sunday lunch.

Dined here at 8pm food was amazing, delicious perfect size and presentation. Service was very good. I would recommend dining here.

Compliments to the chef and his staff for once again a wonderful Sunday Carvery Lunch. All restaurant staff extremely friendly and helpful. I have 2 elderly parents with mobility issues but there is always plenty of space in the restaurant. Wish you did the Carvery more often. Will be going again as my parents are small eaters and being able to choose how much and what they want is brilliant. Thank you all so much.
