Tried to message and call we were going to be a bit late to our reservation because of an accident on the road. She said she couldn’t guarantee a seat, which is completely fine and understandable for a Saturday night in Chicago. However when you’re 8 minutes away it’s rude to give away the table. NOT only that when we arrived there was open seating & booths galore! After she certainly made us feel like a burden for even bothering to courteously call. We were sat immediately and she was visibly disappointed in this.
