Best Sunday roast! All the trimmings, beautifully presented, perfect temperature, high quality ingredients. Beautiful setting, in a lovely village. Attentive staff, including management and bar staff, welcoming and warm environment.

Easy to book via Open Table including a time amendment. Took my daughter for dinner on a Saturday evening. We were greeted by a bar man on entering and were immediately seen to a very nice table for 4 even though there were two of us giving us plenty of room. Service was prompt and informative. We ordered the warm Sourdough to start which was fresh and nicely warm. My daughter had the Chicken Schnitzel and loved it. I had the Lamb Pave with Moroccan couscous and roasted veg, which was delicious. To finish we indulged in the warm chocolate fondant cake with melted chocolate inside, ice cream and white chocolate sauce. All in all a fabulous experience.

The Scotch Egg starters were amazing! The steak and burger main courses were also great however the onion rings were missing from the steak dish. Desserts also really nice. Friendly service.

We stopped at Napier's for my daugther's 6th birthday. The staff made her feel really special - the table had a birthday card and a small banner, she had a birthday candle and cake, and a complimentary drink for all the family. We all felt special. The food was just as good as the staff. It was a lovely meal and we stayed much longer than expected. Akisha, our waitress was very attentive and looked after us extremely well. In particular, because our daughter has allergies so we need to be careful about her food.
