    It really is a nice place. It’s very loud, but the charm is the candle on each table. Our service was fantastic and quick and thorough. Shrimp cocktail was a very good starter, and the slaw was delicious. We also had the Texas tortilla soup- but it was a bit over salted. Prime Rib (16oz) was flavored well. Lastly, the mashed potatoes were really creamy. Save room for Warm butter cake - it was fabulous. It was so dark none of my pictures turned out well- but definitely a restaurant worth a 2nd visit!

    Our second time here and it was even more fabulous. The blue point oysters were perfectly iced and the fresh horseradish we mixed in the cocktail sauce gave a great kick. My husband's fish & chips were crispy and delicious. The masterpiece was my cioppino, which I can honestly say was the best I've ever had: all the fish and shellfish were cooked to perfection and the spicy broth was addictive. I can't wait to have it again. Thank you, Lure, for a perfect meal!

    My third time here at the Tavern love this little neighborhood spot. Great food and every time I go I try something different, never been disappointed. Great food good atmosphere and even better cocktails. Enjoy we always do!!
