Unser Gasthaus zur Post in Hamburg Cranz ist das älteste familiengeführte Restaurant Hamburgs und wird seit 1725 von unser Familie, der Familie Kramer betrieben. Wir liegen direkt auf dem Deich, die Este, ein Nebenfluss der Elbe fließt direkt durch unseren Garten und im Sommer können unsere Gäste traumhaft am Wasser sitzen. Die vorbeifahrenden Boote und die Gäste die uns mit dem Boot besuchen, sind ein Schauspiel an sich... In der Küche stehen wir seit Jahrzehnten für frischen Fisch. Wir pflegen dabei beste Beziehungen zu den lokalen Fischern für Scholle, Stint, Aal, Zander, Kabeljau oder Seezunge. Wir verarbeiten ausschließlich lokalen Fisch.

Zu unserer Küche: "Wir sind keine Revolutionäre, keine jungen Wilden, sondern kochen klassisch-modern, handwerklich fundiert, mit Raum für den besonderen Einfall. Verarbeitet werden ausschließlich frische vorwiegend nachhaltig erzeugte Produkte bester Qualität.“ (Tarik Rose) Wer es etwas rustikaler mag, besucht den Engel Imbiss, der sich im Parterre des Ponton-Restaurants befindet. Und wenn es mal was zu feiern gibt, dann wird der Engel in exponierter Lage auch gerne vermietet.
