Great value on the evening set meal and great quality food!

A great experience overall and a big improvement to the last time we ate here under different management. The menu had variety and the staff were friendly and professional. Will definitely be back again !

My daughter and I had a nice meal. Tasty well cooked food, polite and attentive serving staff. Kitchen closing relatively early 19:45 on the day we visited so had to be quick to order dessert, but service was prompt and we had plenty of time to eat our meal, no one was rushing us out.

Arrived to the pub spoke to a member of the bar staff. Explained I had booked a table online. I was asked when and then taken to the dining area. It was empty so got to choose our table. The food was ordered at the bar all prices seemed very reasonable. Quality of food was average but enjoyable. No steak knife was provided with gammon and egg was almost dried up. Family came in and sat at the table next to us very noisy. Side door was open so lots of people walking in and out could smell smoke and vapes. Overall a nice little village pub and reasonably priced food and drink.
