Excellent service, really beautiful with the doors open as the weather was great. Maybe on the pricy side...

We were shown to our table and there was only one chair. There were myself and husband dining, so I had to ask for another chair. I ordered a latte from the bar, the coffee machine wasn't switched on, so I had to wait a while for it to warm up. The latte tasted strong and bitter. We queued for around 10 - 15 minutes for our lunch and the poor woman carving the meat was sweating in the heat. She kept getting a tissue out of her pocket and wiping her face and nose, then continued to serve, not washing her hands. Her hands were bright red and looked burnt with the heat. Please, get her a fan to cool her down. There was no cauliflower cheese and were told that it wasn't ready yet. The meat was pitiful and hardly any on the plate. We have eaten here multiple times and always enjoyed it, but not this time. We will try again, but at a different time

The quality of food is excellent. It was the best scampi I have had in a long while. My guest loved the steak pie and said the pastry was delicious. The staff were lovely, attentive and efficient.

Although it was very busy with Christmas parties, we were served quickly with lovely food, by lovely staff. However, they did get our order wrong, but quickly rectified it. We throughly enjoyed our visit, until it was time to use the loo! They are in an awful state and needs a complete makeover!
