Very cosy and friendly atmosphere with local families and groups as well as travelers staying at The Statesman Hotel. We enjoyed great pub food including burgers, steaks and chicken schnitzel, all very well prepared and served with precision by an obviously experienced head chef. Great atmosphere, friendly staff and service. Great beers on tap at good prices. Couldn’t be happier with this lovely pub bistro at the hotel/motel we stayed at for our Canberra family excursion. Many thanks to all the kitchen staff x

Visiting from Melbourne and it was such a great experience Food was so delicious, we had the Spanish eggs and Gruyère omelette. Perfectly cooked and seasoned. Outstanding coffee Warm and friendly service Would definitely return on our next trip Highly recommended Thankyou Fox & Bow

Service was friendly and fast. Food was mostly good. Cheeseburgers have some room for improvement.

Locale is a firm favourite for pizzas however one thing that bugs me is that the table always seems to end up crowded by the wire pizza racks. When there is also wine glasses, water glasses, side plates and starters also on the table, it all becomes very cluttered and the height of the pizza racks makes everything seem like an obstacle to be worked around. And this was only 2 small starters and 3 pizzas between 4 people on a large round table.
