I took my wife here for her birthday while we were in Puerto Rico, and the entire experience was nothing short of amazing. I had made several special requests in advance, and not only did the team fulfill them—they went above and beyond. There was a small hiccup with a floral delivery, and the staff stepped in without hesitation to make sure everything was perfect before we arrived. That kind of care and attention to detail is rare and deeply appreciated. The service was phenomenal—attentive, warm, and professional. The food? Next level. I highly recommend the carbonara—honestly the best I’ve had outside of Rome—and the filet mignon was absolutely to die for. The ambiance and immersive atmosphere made the evening feel extra special. This place is a gem, and we’ll definitely be coming back every time we’re on the island.

We arrived 15 minutes early as we decided to have a drink at their bar. The bartender was awesome. He recommended some drinks and also recommended some of the dishes that are popular. We had 2 outstanding drinks and dinner from start to finish one better than the next. Service was on-point. I would highly recommend Mario Pagan. You will need to make reservations ahead of time though. When we return to Puerto Rico we will be eating here again.
