Best Gluten Free Restaurants in Manhasset

Celebrated my wife's b-day and since she loves stone crab Limani's is the place to go. You get to pick the piece(s) you want as opposed ton some restaurants that have a fixed size portion. As usual, service was first rate and even though one person takes the order you can easily get any staff person to fulfill your needs. The prix fixe is my favorite in the area. Delicious tomato salad (ask to have some lettuce added) with green pepper, cucumber, etc and nice piece of feta cheese. The pita bread could be warmed a bit. My wife had broccoli rabe as an appetizer and 1/2 came home. For the prix fixe entree I had dorado which was excellent and they accommodated my change of sides from Horta to lemon potatoes. The stone crabs were very sweet and well cracked for ease of removing the meat. A side of Greek fries (like chips) completed the order. My dessert choice was baklava which came home as they gave us a complimentary dessert for the b-day. All in all Limani is our choice for simply prepared, fresh seafood. And when one of us wants meat their veal chops are excellent. By the time we left around 8 p.m. the place was packed with cars still unparked in the driveway so on Thursday-Satureday pays to come early to get choice tables with less noise.
