GAZETTE abrió su primer restaurante hace 7 años en Battersea sin hacer mucha fanfarria, continuó su silenciosa expansión abriendo GAZETTE en Putney, y más adelante la exitosa GAZETTE en Balham, que abrió sus puertas en el 2008 y tuvo que ser reubicada a un local más amplio hace dos años. Los propietarios, Pascal Even y Walter Lecocq, describen a GAZETTE como una brasserie francesa estilo rural como las que se encuentran en la provincia francesa.
