- AAngieHawaii •12 reviews5.0Dined todayWe had an excellent dining experience with my 15-year-old daughter. Making a reservation was quick and easy, and we were seated promptly upon arrival. The hosts at the front gave us a warm welcome, setting the tone for the evening. Our server, Kimmie, was exceptional. Her recommendations were spot-on, and her customer service was outstanding. She consistently checked in to ensure everything was perfect and that we had everything we needed. My daughter even said it was the best customer service she’s ever experienced at a fine dining restaurant and count not stop saying the word "wow". We’ll definitely be back!More infoEating House 1849 by Roy Yamaguchi - Waikiki, OahuPrice: Very Expensive• Hawaii Regional Cuisine• Waikiki•4.7
- KKatevipTucson •4 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoWe had an excellent lunch at Merrimans. Delicious appetizers and the pot pie was amazing as was the grilled eggplant sandwich ( which I added bacon to as per our fantastic waiter Julian’s advice). Very pleasant pace of service, no one was pushing you along and I have to say our waiter Julian was really wonderful he made Great food suggestions and was very proud of the heritage involved in menu options. We will go back again!More infoMerriman's HonoluluPrice: Expensive• Hawaii Regional Cuisine• Honolulu•4.8
- DDonnavipPhiladelphia County •105 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoPrix fixe menu only - 4 or 5 course. For extra we ordered oysters to start - only 6. The soup and/or salad starter was tasty as well as the pear and burrata appetizer. Perfect size potions prior to the entree. The scallops were a bit on the chewy side but had good flavor paired with a parsnip puree. For an extra charge, we also ordered the prime rib - nice cut with sides. The dessert was also delicious. Wish the scallop dish was more substantial with sides. The wine pairing was overpriced and the selection did not enhance the dish. Summation - the view and service were phenomenal. The meal was delicious but we weren’t wowed - but we reside in a very foodie city with excellent restaurants, taste profiles, and chefs. The price represents the location and atmosphere. Laid back, beautiful sunset, and great entertainment at the Beach Bar steps away. Would order your favorite cocktail/wine vs pairing.More infoBeachhouse - Moana SurfriderPrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• Waikiki•4.8
- MMarieVancouver / British Columbia •3 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoThis restaurant did something I rarely find - they were willing to customize my order so that I could avoid all the foods that I cannot tolerate e.g. dairy And it was no big deal, just the way they do things. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. I was also i pressed by how many family groups there were at this restaurant - always an indicator of a restaurant that is welcoming and accommodating. The location and view were both lovely. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who asked.More infoHula Grill - WaikikiPrice: Expensive• Hawaii Regional Cuisine• Waikiki•4.7
- NnicolevipHawaii •2 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 1, 2024We attend the first seating of Sunday Brunch or a friend's birthday. Hands down my favorite buffet in Hawaii. You can smell the waffles from the lobby and they are the best ones I've ever had -- the batter is delicious and idk how it stays so crisp. The overall food quality and variety was on point. We were also really surprised at how good the regular drip coffee was (our waitress told us its Honolulu Coffee Co). While the dinner and Sunday brunch buffet menus are similar, you cant go wrong with either. Highly recommend.More info100 Sails Restaurant & BarPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Waikiki•4.5
