Best Gluten Free Restaurants in Sidmouth

A wonderful meal - dare I say ‘pub food’, but top quality, lovely variety and dog friendly in one half of the bar. You really won’t be disappointed. All the staff are very friendly and can’t do enough to help. We really enjoyed our meal, thank you!

Came here for an anniversary dinner on Father’s Day, so we opted for the Father’s Day mixed roast at £24.50 Service was quite slow, from taking our drinks orders, but the food came out fairly quick. When the plates put down, the portions was pretty small. I asked the waitress if this was the large size and she said no that’s the small but you could order the larger one… well we thought we had. We also asked for no potato’s on one but extra veg instead - there wasn’t any extra veg. The lady did kindly bring out some extra meat and we did appreciate that. The food its self was really good and it’s such a nice atmosphere in the pub. Live music outside which was amazing and perfect for the time of year! We come here regularly and the foods always good - we were just disappointed with the portions compared to normal as we haven’t eaten all day. But was delicious nonetheless !

We chose the two courses for £13.00 which was amazing value, kids had Hunters chicken …. Said it was delicious. My husband had burger which he was raving about. I had mushroom & tarragon pudding (it was tasty but was a pie not a pudding & sadly did not come with new potatoes as advertised but instant mash). It was nicely presented & good value. Wouldn’t have wanted to have paid full price for mine.

Went for our Anniversary. Service was very good. Really enjoyed our food. Will definitely book again..
