We are local Galway people who are regulars to the Universal. We love the atmosphere, the cocktails, the food. We love that we often dump into people we know there, it's very unique to Galway and definitely is known more by the locals, who love it then by tourists I would say

The restaurant was fabulous. The food was really nice and a good choice on the menu. The staff were extremely friendly and one waiter went beyond with his kind service to us . I would highly recommend.
