- EElizabethVIPCharlotte •27 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoCoquette is a wonderful French eating experience from start to finish! Last night we started off with some champagne paired with delicious shrimp cocktail (very sweet and tender with a nice aioli sauce) and the day’s special duck appetizer. Then we had the mussels in creamy wine sauce which was one of the best we’ve tasted in a long time. The duck fat fried chicken is a unique dish because the seasonings have the essence of French flavor and the meat is tender and juicy. We enjoyed some nice wine pairings with each. Of course, the crème brûlée for dessert had the crunchy, caramelized topping over the sweet, light custard. Patrick, the owner, welcomed us in true French fashion, and Rudy, our waiter, helped make it a fun and delightful evening! We eat out often, but this is one of the few places that every part of the meal along with authentic frenchyexperience is wonderful from start to finish!More infoCoquette - Uptown CharlottePrice: Expensive• French• Uptown•4.7

- GGlennAtlanta •2 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoSeared scallops and grilled salmon were our entrees; great flavor and cooked perfectly with a hint of wood smoke. Nate was an outstanding server who made sure we were assisted well, provided suggestion on our request, and made sure our evening was off to a great start! Hope to dine there again on another foray into the Uptown!More infoRooster's Wood Fired Kitchen Uptown CharlottePrice: Moderate• European• Uptown•4.8
- GGlennAsheville / Western North Carolina •1 review5.0Dined 5 days agoI've been to several O-Ku's and they are all great. The one in Charlotte is now my favorite. The food is so crazy good that they are often packed to the rafters and the noise level escalates accordingly. Last night was busy, with the restaurant being about 70% full and it still felt cozy and was quiet enough for my client and I to have a meaningful conversation without straining to hear each other over the din. Our server was excellent, just the right combination of attentive and unobtrusive. The food was, as always, fantastic: fresh, beautifully presented and fun to eat.More infoO-Ku - CharlottePrice: Moderate• Japanese• Southend•4.7
