- AAnastasiaAdelaide •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoA perfect way to celebrate my mother on a belated Mother's Day. We ordered the slow cooked lamb, cabbage side dish, tomato side dish and finished off with the Basque cheesecake and olive oil ice-cream. Everything was exceptional. What a treat to enjoy such flavoursome tomatoes at this time of year. The ingredients themselves were top notch and the cooking of them was divine. Apologies for leaving without directly thanking the chefs who we could see working away. Thanks also to the lovely and welcoming front of house staff Ive been thinking about this meal all day. Im sure my mother has been too.More infoOlivePrice: Moderate• Mediterranean• Adelaide City Center•4.6

- AAnneVictoria •2 reviews5.0Dined on May 18, 2025Our group of four agreed that the experience we had at Longplay Bistro was absolutely superb. The front of house staff/owners were friendly, service was attentive, and the space itself was beautiful, with heavy curtains to help with noise absorption. Tables were well spaced and the music playlist was great, 60’s through to 80’s jazz and Motown. The menu was adventurous and sophisticated with all the hallmarks of great French bistro food, excellent steak and fish. The highlights were the snapper and the ox tongue. The wine list was concise and well curated. This restaurant is the complete package, a lovely place to be with great service, food and wine, something that is not always easy to find. We’re from Melbourne and we will make a point of coming back.More infoLongplay BistroPrice: Very Expensive• European• Adelaide City Center•4.8
