L'Il Portico est le plus ancien restaurant familial de Londres, établi depuis six décennies et trois générations. L'Il Portico Restaurant sur Kensington High Street cuisine des spécialités italiennes régionales depuis son ouverure en1960 par le chef renommé Pino Chiavarini. L'établissement est encore aujourd'hui la propriété de la même famille. James et Francesca, frère et sœur, s'inspirent fortement de leurs racines afin de servir une cuisine italienne simple et authentique de leur région d'origine de l'Émilie-Romagne et d'autres régions. Ouvert en 1983 par la chef passionnée Sally Clarke, cette légende locale sur Kensington Church Street est devenue un coup de cœur pour les critiques professionnels et les gourmets amateurs. Depuis 21 ans, Sally sert un souper « sans choix » de quatre plats, mais maintenant il existe menu qui change chaque semaine et qui met en valeur sa passion pour les produits de saison de qualité. Les herbes et les légumes proviennent de fournisseurs biologiques de l'Angleterre du Sud-Est; la mozzarella de bufflonne est importée de Naples deux fois par semaine; et les crustacés sont livrés pendant la nuit par train depuis l'Écosse. Les plats populaires comprennent le filet de chevreuil de Balmoral aux pommes avec sauce à la sauge; le filet de barbue de Cornish cuit au four dans une chapelure aux fines herbes et une crème de thym; et la tarte au chocolat noir et châtaigne. Nous connaissions le restaurant gastronomique mais pas encore essayé ce bar où l'on peut avoir de bons cocktails et quelques tapas (excellents) et même en petite portion certains plats du gastronomique (Potatoes & Roe par exemple, toujours aussi bon!). Bon service professionnel. Atmosphère agréable, musique un peu forte pas utile.

C’était correcte mais rien d’exceptionnel. Bon service. Petite portion. Mon Ghorme Sabsi était bon mais les haricots n’était pas complètement cuit. E n somme c’est bon mais pas le meilleurs restaurant persan

Alors je recommande ce restaurant à 3000%.. tout était excellent.. nous y retournons dans 1 mois. Il faut réserver bien à l’avance pour être à l’intérieur !
