- BBrianVIPBaltimore / Maryland •22 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoMy wife and I had the pleasure of dining at The Ruxton on a random Monday night, and it turned into an unforgettable experience. We went with a mix of appetizers—grilled oysters, potato gnocchi in sage brown butter with goat cheese, Wagyu beef sliders, and king crab cocktail. It was a completely random selection, but every dish was outstanding. The gnocchi was rich and perfectly balanced, the Wagyu sliders were incredibly flavorful, and the king crab was fresh and sweet. All of it was complemented beautifully by a fantastic Sancerre. What truly elevated the evening, though, was our server, Sammy. Not only did Sammy provide exceptional service, but we also had a great conversation throughout the night. Engaging, knowledgeable, and genuinely friendly, Sammy made the experience even more memorable. It’s rare to have such a combination of incredible food and outstanding hospitality. I’ll definitely be returning—and when I do, I’ll be asking for Sammy!More infoThe RuxtonPrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• Harbor East•4.8

- PPeterVIPSan Francisco Bay Area •24 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoWe ordered appetizers of grilled scallops and octopus salad. Both had some char from the grill and were excellent. We had the whole Bronzino and whole Dover sole for entrees. They came with a side of a sweet potato mash. Each was perfectly prepared and presented. Each was as delicious as the other. We had mango sorbet and baklava ice cream for dessert. All of the food offerings were as good as food gets. We did have to ask our server for some things that we felt should have been readily offered to us. This said, the overall experience was excellent and we look forward to returning.More infoBlack OlivePrice: Expensive• Seafood• Fells Point•4.9

- KKatBaltimore / Maryland •1 review5.0Dined on Jan 31, 2025We celebrated our fourth anniversary here. Stephen was our server and he was awesome at helping us with the menu and suggesting things. We started off with the Oyster Chesapeake which was baked oysters with crab imperial on top which was amazing. I also ate the appetizer and my entree with a glass of their Moscato which was quite nice. For our main courses - my partner got the A5 Wagyu which lived up to the reputation of awesome. I got the signature cut prime rib and it had tons of flavor, juicy, and tender. Just the way prime rib should be. We also got spinach and truffle mac and cheese as sides which were pretty good. Dessert my partner got the cheesecake and i got a slice of chocolate cake. Be warned, the chocolate cake slice is HUGE. Definitely enough to share, perhaps with 3-4 people because it was massive, especially after a full meal. Overall, we enjoyed ourselves and will be back.More infoThe Prime Rib Maryland at Live!
