A great experience at the Pompadour. From starter to dessert : elegant, fresh, delicate and savoury taste. Perfect for a lovely gourmet moment.

Small, but interesting menu with something for everyone. Scallops with black pudding perfectly cooked and seasoned, chicken and coconut soup very unusual, but really good. Gressingham duck perfectly cooked as specified, but unfortunately the medium-rare steak was mostly well-done. The mushroom ragout with it though was outstanding and the side dish veggies were perfect. We loved the bean based creme brulee and the cocktails were good. Our table by the open window was excellent and the service was absolutely perfect in every way and could not be faulted. We'll be back!

The venue is spectacular. Some of the staff are a bit self-important, though. Most of the 6 course tasting menu was amazing, although the presentation was a bit blah. The meat course was disappointing, although the filet was delicious, it was spoiled by au jus that was very salty and a mini yorkshire pudding that was dry and very tough. Pretty basic components for a restaurant of this caliber to fail on. The biscuit forming base for dessert was almost impossible to break. Used fingers, and it was basic.I expected higher standards for cost. Overall experience was good.

The food is fantastic! I would definitely recommend this place.
