Best Family Style Restaurants in Lakewood / Bellflower

From start to finish we felt we were at home. The staff is amazing. There was only one wait server on the floor and many tables but the staff works as a team and it was wonderful. First timers and we lucked out as it was DineLA week and we were able to receive a nice sampling of the appetizers and a paella . We ordered it traditional style “sorrat” and while the center had the crusted rice the rest of the pan did not. We enjoyed it and did tell Ann about it. We also told her we were used to the ones you get in Barcelona. Her suggestion was to tell the server you know what it’s supposed to taste like because there have been complaints that it was “overcooked “. We thought it was a good suggestion as if you aren’t familiar with the texture it could be assumed that that was the case. It wasn’t burned it was perfectly done where we had it. We will be back

Brandon was extremely sweet! The best server here ! I’ve been here many times always getting the same rude lady . Thank you Brandon for making it a great visit . Food was ready quick . Great customer service

Food was really good overall. I would recommend the dahi puri, aloo gobi, and goat cheese kulcha. The rasmalai dessert was excellent. The lychee mocktail was excellent.

Oysters 2 ways- on the half shell and fried on my Cesar Salad. Oysters were fresh & meaty. Husband had lobster roll which he loved. Service and ambience were very good.
