Best Family Style Restaurants in Downtown

My simple review - this place is the OG - the food is good but the place and the service and the history is what I go for. You can find better food, but it is the whole experience. The Bookmaker Salad is killer. Please go!!

We always come for special occasions, and we’re always impressed! Best house salad in the city and the seafood ravioli is AMAZING! Absolutely a gem of a restaurant!

We were there for early weeknight dinner, so very quiet. Overall the experience was fine with respect to food and drinks. I believe our server was very new so had difficulty explaining the specials and sometimes it took a while to brink out drinks or return. My hope is that would improve with more experience.

I celebrated my birthday dinner here, and I was extremely happy thats i chose this restaurant. We were seated at a window table which provided such a pretty view, our waiter was extremely attentive and gracious in creating a great dining experience. He provided us with a wide range of recommendations from the menu and was attentive and patient. The food was phenomenal! I had the linguine fini and the 8 oz steak, both dishes were seasoned to perfection. To end the night oir waitor brought out a birthday dessert to share which really commemorated the occasion. My only critique is the food portion were a bit small but otherwise I will definitely be back to try other dishes on their menu!!

My favorite place in the Little Italy section of Baltimore. Food is great and the atmosphere is quaint cozy and romantic. I love the Nona that meets us at the door!
