Great night lovely place something little bit different from the norm lovely food great service lovely vibe

The malt shovel has amenities that suit everyone , the staff are lovely ,the meal was nice ,although I wasn’t keen on their coleslaw ,but that’s just me.Pensioners are catered for,and as I am disabled I worry about where the seats and the toilets are but I felt comfortable in the surroundings to partake both of these.I also felt that the staff would help me in anyway they could,.They have a play area which I didn’t look at but wished I had, but people have told me it’s nice.Next time I will look,and check if it’s okay for my grandchildren and great grandchild,thanks for a lovely experience

Generally good. Music was very loud and we couldnt talk over it so had to ask to turn it down. Staff were setting up for a wedding and were distracted from us so coukd have been more attentive. Not sure why we got a scone filled with cream in it when we already had a scone with cream on our plate as well. Felt like they were trying to fill the plate up with anything. Not as good as previously.

We had a memorable lunch, service was excellent and choices of food and drinks could not be faulted.. Both started with the scallops in a fantastic sauce with a delicate hint of chilli…. followed by the hake perfectly cooked with my wife opting for the crawfish sandwich which was all completely devoured… One of the best lunches we have had in a long time.
