The staff were all welcoming and helpful. We enjoyed every dish and can highly recommend the squid. Looking forward to another visit.

Small menu with a good number of daily specials. "No variations from menu" is rather uppity for the rather high prices. What we did have was very nice.

Our lunch experience at Waves was very good. We had four diners, celebrating two birthdays. Even though it was a cold, miserable day we were lucky enough to be seated by a window overlooking the beach, which was lovely. The restaurant was full, but we could still hear reasonably well. The food was good, but not outstanding, as one piece of barramundi was a little overcooked, and the seafood pie didn't live up to expectations. But it was still perfectly acceptable. The waitress was lovely and attentive. On the whole, we all had a lovely time, and would book Waves for our annual birthday celebration catch up again.

Having not been here before I was certainly pleasantly surprised. Absolutely lovely cafe, staff attentive and friendly but not in your face. I will be back again for sure.

Great food with lots of options. Good value and the service was excellent.
