Best Dog Friendly Restaurants in Waterloo

We celebrated our 50th anniversary with my brother and partner. We had not been back since before COVID. It was not our favorite place then. But something has changed and this time we loved Posta on all fronts. It is good timing as Mississauga is seeing a number of new Italian options coming.

Food was absolutely tremendous. Had 3 different flavours of the Detroit style pizza. Excellent toppings and a really nice dough that doesn't overfill you. Gnocchi were soft and delicious as well. Pazzo bites are highly recommended with a dynamite homemade marinara sauce. Matt (Chef) was great to speak with and Jelena (Server) was knowledgeable, attentive, and pleasant to deal with. Very knowledgeable about the products and craft beers. Interactive table was a lot of fun as well. Will definitely be back shortly for the new menu launch.

The menu was outstanding, great variety with unique offerings such as Steak with Tuna Sushi - which I ordered. The Server Jessica was friendly, very polite, great smile, knew the menu and very responsive. She was able to give us detail about our order, making recommendations and suggested appetizers to match. She told our drink order quickly and returned with fantastic virgin cesaer as she fussed with the spiciness and rim salt selection. She asked if we were celebrating anything and in fact it was both my wife's and mine birthdays - She provided free deserts that were awesome. Our daughter is in a wheel chair and Jessica provided a good place for us to sit and made us feel welcome right away. This was the BEST service we have ever encountered (and our son is a server too). We requested to speak with the Manager and she showed no sign of intimidation and brought her over immediately - we asked the Manager how long Jessica had worked there - she demonstrated a level of confidence and proficiency of someone with a decade of experience. She is a natural with good training. The food was warm, fresh and exceeded our expectation. Needless to say the value was off the charts. We happily gave a tip of 100% . a great restaurant with great staff and the best value for money we have seen in decades. We'll be back.
