Located in the heart of Gramercy in the restored Assembly Hall of the landmarked United Charities Building, Hawksmoor is a steak restaurant that celebrates all-natural, pasture-reared, and traditionally dry-aged beef. We are a first come first serve all day restaurant. Walk-ins of all party sizes are encouraged at any time!Back in the '90s, we were a tiny coffee shop with a lot of heart, a few mismatched tables, and a menu that came together with some help from our regulars. Our mother and her friends pitched in to cook, and we served up the kind of food we grew up on—comforting, familiar, and full of love. Truthfully, we were winging it more often than not. But we were having a lot of fun, and somehow, it worked out.

A typical food love story. A boy meets a girl while eating pizza. He attends culinary school and open’s a pizza restaurant named after the girl. Thus bringing us to Emily! The Manhattan iteration of the Brooklyn based pizzeria centered around a historic brick oven and comforting food. Emily has earned a following for its signature Detroit-style pies and award winning burger. The pizza here is rectangular (not round) and utilizes the "frico" technique, in which cheese is drizzled on the edges of the pie to create a crispy brown exterior. Beyond the main event, the menu extends to include salads and sandwiches, which shouldn't be ignored (think an attention-grabbing burger and a top-notch spicy fried chicken sandwich). Please note, there will be a time limit of 1 hour 30 minutes for guests so we can fairly utilize our limited capacity. Our outdoor dining is enclosed with heaters that will keep you toasty!
