A visit to Pear and Olive is always a wonderful experience and each time we become more amazed at the high quality of cooking as well of course the drink options and above all the service which is a great balance between being friendly and smoothly efficient. If this was a London restaurant people would be queuing to visit . It is a local gem that needs more support.

Nice food with great service and real value for money

The roast dinner was amazing, good service, only criticism is that we waited a long time for our meal to come out, but it was worth it

Decent food and sensible portion sizes. Service was attentive without being in the way. Dining room was surprisingly sparse for a Saturday evening although we were eating quite early.

We made a last minute booking for Sunday lunch. Food was lovely and service was great.
