He brought “the connection” - he knew how to welcome guests and make them feel appreciated. His warmth is missed! For this meal — 5pm (early!) reservation for 6 plus a toddler. Our server was prompt and did a good job. Food was fine — a few miscues: pesto fettuccine was a bit dry (not enough sauce? Sat under heat lamp a little too long?), and the mashed potatoes that came with the salmon dinner had a sweet flavor…..ugh. Nothing that will keep us from coming back. People without reservations were seated ahead of us. We had to wait around 15 minutes to be seated, after our designated reservation time. Our kids were falling asleep prior to their food arriving.
