The food was spectacular as always, and David - as well as the other staff members - made us feel very welcome! Thank you!More infoDaiLoPrice: Very Expensive• Asian• Little Italy / College St.•4.8
- LluciToronto / Ontario •1 review4.0Dined 5 days agoMy dream was to go to 11 Park Ave, NYC, but, well... Instead I found this plant-based fine dining restaurant and that's where I decided to take my guest. The service was great, the space is lovely, the non-alcoholic drink menu was a bonus. We came for the 5 course tasting menu. It was interesting, innovative, but sadly, for me, not a mouth-watering "I've died and gone to heaven" flavour experience. My guest enjoyed a few more items. I liked the 4th course with black-eyed pea tempeh on the smokey carrot puree; and the rhubarb pavlova was great. We were seated in the bar area because AC wasn't working in the dining room and I wonder if the music playlist is different upstairs. It didn't suit the ambiance. I love plant-based meals and am supportive of plant-based fine dining. Not having been to 11 Park, I can't compare, but suspect the flavours would be better. Maybe? Anyway, we had a great time and I would try it again.More infoAvelo RestaurantPrice: Very Expensive• Vegan• Yorkville•4.8

- DDylanToronto / Ontario •2 reviews5.0Dined on Jun 17, 2025Greeted at the door with a pleasant smile, soft jazz piano playing at a humble and warm volume as you entered the dining room. Staff were pleasant and inviting. My fiance and I were seated at our table where a lit candle stick was flickering- waiting for us to begin the culinary journey. The cocktail and wine list was brilliant- recently awarded by the Michelin guide, and for good reason. They definitely earned their title of 2024s exceptional cocktails award. Service began once we had settled in and ordered a drink. Staff were very knowledgeable of the menu and its origins, and had great awareness for pace of coursing. The attention to detail was impeccable- ceramics from each course subtly played off of colours around the dining room. You can tell each plate was hand crafted and picked to complete an earthy and oceanic theme, reflecting the Mediterranean roots of the restaurant. Our first bite set the bar very high for the meal and it felt like each course after that gently raised that bar higher and higher. The menu flowed effortlessly, and no course felt out of place or forced. The plating of each dish was humble and powerful in its visuals. Again, nothing felt forced or gimmicky. Chef Adam and his team are deserving of their Michelin recognition, but I see the award of a Michelin star in their future. Front of house staff worked diligently and quietly to execute what felt like a flawless service. We had 13 brilliant courses and were well informed of what we were eating, the inspiration and the origin of ingredients. We had the pleasure of viewing the private garden the restaurant humbly hides in the back terrace. Each plant bed housed a multitude of plants that were freshly picked for each course we had eaten that night— all grown from seed onsite. Chef Adam is truly going above and beyond to ensure the ingredients on his menu are as fresh and unique as possible. I see this being one of Canada’s top restaurants in the very near future. Impeccable experience.More infoAzuraPrice: Very Expensive• Mediterranean• Danforth / Greek Town•4.7
