We thoroughly enjoyed the experience! In addition, our server was cognizant of the fact that we might be attending a performance and asked in advance if that was as the case. We had a well paced, delicious meal and made it to the Berkeley Rep Theater with zero stress. Well done and appreciated!

Great overall experience. Very casual spot with inventive and delicious menu items. The beef tartar was a fun and tasty approach to this dish. Fried green tomatoes, tartar with a devil’s egg type sauce served withlettuce wraps. So good! Great job on the BBQ shrimp. The sauce was really flavorful and loved the simple toast served with it. The fried mushrooms and onions were amazing.

My husband and I celebrated our wedding anniversary last night at Roses on Adeline. From the moment we walked in, we were treated like royalty, and taken to a quiet, table for two,just as I requested on the reservation. It was our first time at Roses on Adeline, and we plan to go there many more times after feasting on mouthwatering bread, delicious Happy Hour cocktails, salad, Pasta, smash burgers, and the spectacular dessert, lit with a candle to celebrate US! Wonderful, attentive service and a romantic ambiance.

Impeccable service includes attentiveness, knowledgable and friendly staffs, the wine pairing enhanced both the food and the wine, creating more enjoyable experience. Thanks to the whole team of Commis for making our birthday celebration more special.

A wonderful dining experiance. The food was very good…med spicy for us but very good. So happy we visited on a graduation visit to Berkeley!
